Schiller Park is located on the south side of German Village. It is home to a statue of Friedrich von Schiller, who was a German poet. A popular event that used to take place in the park is “Sch├╝tzenfest,” which takes place annually now at the Ohio Expo center. Still there are plenty of things to do in the area! Residents can easily walk or bike to a variety of restaurants, bars, and trails. Downtown Columbus is also very close by.
