Weinland Park

Weinland Park

Why Do People Live Here?

Weinland Park is a neighborhood of the University District located north of downtown Columbus and East of Ohio State University. It is bound on the north by Chittenden Avenue, the south by Fifth Avenue, the west by North High Street, and the east by railroad tracks. Weinland Park is not gentrifying: people are moving into the neighborhood, but no one is being forced out. Therefore, no rapid changes in income levels and housing values are occurring. For some who are being priced out of Clintonville, Weinland Park is a viable option. Many younger generations have looked at Weinland Park as a place in which they can live affordably.
